Tortilla De Patatas recipe

This Tortilla De Patatas is one of the simples recipes that I have ever made. This dish belongs to Spain and is usually served as a starter. This is a very easy recipe to be made as this only takes 50 minutes to get prepared fully. The steps that we have provided here are very easy to be followed.

Ingredients:

  • 6th Pc big eggs
  • 500 G Potatoes, waxy
  • 2 Pc small onions
  • 5 Pc Garlic cloves
  • 80 ml Olive oil for the pan
  • 3 Tbsp Peterli
  • 1 TL pepper
  • 1 TL salt

Method:

  1. For this awesome Tortilla dish, you first have to wash the potatoes and then peel them, and then cut them into slices. Now Chop the onions and parsley as well.
  2. Place the sliced potatoes in a large container and then pour down some cold water over them until they are covered with it. Sprinkle some salt on top of the water and mix it and then boil the water. Add the potatoes to the salted water and cook them for about 5-10 minutes or until they can be bitten. After that, switch off the heat and pour down the hot water in the sink and then take out the potatoes and set them aside.
  3. Here, you have to heat some oil in the pan which has high boundaries. Add one garlic clove and add the onions and cook everything for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Now, just check if the onions are soft or not, if they are then leave them there in the pan.
  4. Now just add the boiled peeled potatoes along with parsley in the onion pan and cook the whole thing on the same heat. Stir everything well occasionally.
  5. Break down the eggs in a small glass bowl, sprinkle it with a teaspoon of salt and pepper, and then pour the mixture over the tortilla. Here, just cover the whole thing and then cook it on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  6. Switch off the heat and take the tortilla out off the cover and cut it into triangular pieces of small size and then serve them with ketchup or hot sauce. Hope you are going to love this dish.
